Liverpool Queen Square Bus Station

Cumfybus operate MX05 OTA, which remains in a silver, promotional livery, for Edge Hill University. Note the error on the destination display - it should be Queen Square Bus Station. 

Three buses in a row, all with different operators, headed by Stagecoach 34799. 

Formerly in the fleet of Metrobus, Surrey, MIG 8167, is now operated by Halton Transport. 

Another service to Mann Island, with Arriva 2668. 

Setting down in Queen Square is Stagecoach 27290. 

On its way to Victoria Street is Arriva 4648. 

Yet another journey to Mann island with Arriva 2903. 

Leeds City Bus Station

An unidentified Volvo operated by First Bradford passes Leeds City Bus Station. All photo's in this set were taken on 27th February 2016.  

A fleet of Volvo, Wrightbus Street Decks, have recently been introduced on the 15-minute frequency, Transdev service 36, linking Leeds with Harrogate and Ripon.  3625 is pictured entering the bus station. 

It has to be said that Leeds City Bus Station is not the best for photography, with security fencing  and blocked walkways  in part of it. No doubt to prevent idiots from walking behind and in front of buses etc. X84 branded First Bus 37671 is about to go on stand for the limited stop run to Otley. 

Photographed through the security fencing using the zoom, is Flying Tiger liveried, Versa, 795, on the Leeds Bradford Airport service. 

On service 6 to Holt Park is First Leeds 36215. 

Arriving on the X84 is First Bus 36215.

Accrington

Lancashire United 1831 had arrived in Peel Street, Accrington, on service 7 from Blackburn. All photo's in this set were taken on 23rd January 2016. 

On it's way to  Manchester on the X41, Lancashire United 402 picks up in Peel Street, Accrington.  

Formerly with Stagecoach in Cumbria, N652 VSS, is now operated by M & M of Accrington. 

Another former Stagecoach vehicle, also operated on local services by M& M of Accrington, is N125 YHH, seen heading away from Peel Street. 

Transdev 1042 in Mainline livery. 

Another livery for Transdev was applied to 2706. 

Rosso 116 was originally delivered new to Arriva London. 

Lancashire United 440 on the X41 to Blackburn. 

Keswick Bus Station

47722 at the coach and bus parking area at the rear of Keswick Bus Station. All photo's in this set were taken on 18th February 2016.  

Formerly in the fleet of Roadmark Travel, Pulborough, BJ10 VUM is now operated by Yorkshire Rose of Barnsley. 

Stagecoach Gold 15221 at Keswick Bus Station on service X4 to Penrith.

A Day On The Fylde

It was a bit of last minute decision, but it was simply too nice to stay at home today, (look at that sky!), so I headed for the Fylde. First bus of the day was 47488 on the Lancaster to Knott End service. What a noisy vehicle it proved to be, with everything possible rattling. Obviously seen better days. It is photogrpahed at Knott End. All photo's in this set were taken on 23rd February 2016. 

I had intended to catch the ferry from Knott End to Fleetwood, but that would have entailed a bit of a wait, so instead caughtBlackpool Transport 348 on service 2C to Blackpool. However, I left the vehicle, as seen above at Poulton-Le-Fylde. 

Next to arrive at Poulton-Le-Fylde was YJ64 DSE, on service 87 to Cleveleys, and operated by Elite Mini Bus and Coach Hire of Blackpool.  

Preston Bus also operate to Poulton, as seen above, with fleet no. 20004.

My next journey was on another Preston Bus Solo, 20772, onwards to Fleetwood on service 75 from Preston. 

After a liquid refreshment stop in Fleetwood, I then boarded Blackpool Tram, fleet no. 12, seen arriving at the London Street stop in the shadows. 

Once in Blackpool, I made my way via Market Street, where Blackpool Transport 351 was loading passengers on service 11 to Lytham.  

Moving on to Abingdon Street, a service to Mereside Tesco was photographed, operated by Blackpool Transport 287. 

Also in Abingdon Street was Blackpool Transport, Palladium liveried, 550. 

Heading towards home, I then caught 18324 on the 15:20 journey from Blackpool to Lancaster.

Wigan Bus Station

36787 leaves Wigan Bus Station on the Kitt Green Circular service. All photo's in this set were taken on 2nd December 2015. 

Parked just outside the Bus Station was 22353. 

On the 632 service and leaving the Bus Station was 36791. 

Arriva North West 4583 on the way to Southport. 

Arriving with service 600 is 22357.

27827 leaves the Bus Station. 

Wigan Buses have YJ61 JCZ, seen on the Gathurst Circular service.
