Windermere & Grasmere

Pose for the camera! Unusually MMC 10552, at Windermere Railway Station on service 599 from Grasmere to Bowness.  All photo's in this set were taken on 29th June 2017.

At a damp looking Grasmere was 17014. Not open top weather!

This Mercedes-Benz Tourismo - BF16 XRM - was at Grasmere coach park. Operated by Landtourer Coaches, Farnham, Hampshire, and in Globus livery.  

Also at the coach park was 20 JYU - York Pullman. 

Back at Windermere Station, there was a logjam of buses for a while as 17013 arrived on the 599 to Bowness.

Preston Bus Station

Leaving Preston Bus Station is 37127. All photo's in this set were taken on 15th April 2017. 

Preston Bus 20704 on service 6 to Red Scar. 

Heading for Blackpool on service 68 is 15567.

Preston Bus 40590 operating service 35 to Tanterton. 

On the way to Savick is Preston Bus 20789.

Whilst ongoing work has been undertaken to the Bus Station, this location has made it an ideal spot for photographs, as 19044 slowly makes it way through the narrowed exit. 

Durham Bus Station

On the stand at Durham Bus Station, and in Prince Bishops livery, is Go North East 5420, working the service to South Shields. All photo's in this set were taken on 14th June 2017.

Parked at the rear of the Bus Station was S5 STX, in the fleet of Stanley Travel, but previously operated by Go Ahead London.

Also parked was Arriva North East 1595.

Leaving the Bus Station on service 16 was Go North East 5442, with Durham Diamond livery.  

On service 48 to New Brancepeth, Arriva North East 7420.

Newcastle: Haymarket Bus Station

Leaving Newcastle, Haymarket Bus Station, for Whitley Bay on service 51, is Arriva North East 2601. All photo's in this set were taken on 11th June 2017.

Arriva North East 7506 joins the queue waiting to leave the Bus Station. 

In Quaylink livery is Go North East 8310. 

Go North East 6104 on the Cobalt Clipper service 310 to Blyth.

Blyth Bus Station

Arriva North East 1401 arrives at Blyth Bus Station on the X7 to Newcastle. All photo's in this set were taken on 12th June 2017.

Parked throughout my time at Blyth Bus Station was Arriva North East 1769. 

A fine sunny day, with Arriva North East 7603. 

The Bus Station consists of a square with bus shelters and stops all around it, The travel shop in the middle of the square seems to have been shut for some time. The buildings have a bit of a tired, rundown look about them and have seen better days. Arriva North East 7439 on one of the stands.

Ashton-Under-Lyne

Arriving at Ashton-Under-Lyne Bus Station, not in service, is First Manchester 33689. All photo's in this set were taken on 17th May 2017.

Newcastle: Eldon Square: Blackett Street

Many Stagecoach services call at Blackett Street, at the rear of Eldon Square in Newcastle. 10631 on the service to Killingworth. All photo's in this set were taken on 15th June 2017.
