A timely visit, recording the final days of the GNE loan vehicles and the 'old' Tynedale Links livery. 557 has already been repainted into GNE Red, ahead of being transferred elsewhere. Tomorrow (23 March) should see five new Optare Solos enter service on 'Tynedale Links', thereby displacing five MPDs; and on Friday, two further Solos (635 and 636) ought to appear on the AD122 Hadrian's Wall services.
ReplyDeleteI'm back there again at the end of September. However, took a lot more photo's this time round, some of which will appear in the coming days. One of the Solos in AD122 livery was at the bus station, and I also got pic of that as well. Looked very smart.
