Kendal To Penrith Service 555

With the road washed away in places north of Grasmere, due to the recent flooding, service 555 is unable to serve Keswick, and only goes as far as Grasmere. However, there is a 'temporary service' 555 from Kendal to Penrith Railway Station, which links with the Stagecoach Gold X4 from Penrith to Keswick, thus providing an alternative, but longer route. I joined Trident 18327 today (15th December 2015), pictured above at Kendal Bus Station, about to set off with the 11:10 to Penrith Railway Station. 

Having reached Penrith Railway Station, from Kendal, via the A6 and M6, another Trident, 18365 arrived with service 104 to Carlisle, 

Stagecoach Gold 15224  arrives at the Railway Station,  (it will then continue to Penrith Bus Station), with the connecting service, X4, from Keswick.

18327 again, for my return trip to Kendal.
