Midland Metro

The Midland Metro operates between Birmingham Bull Street and Wolverhampton St. George's via West Bromwich and Wednesbury (where the tram depot is located). It is owned and promoted by Centro, and operated by National Express Midland Metro, a subsidiary of National Express. I took a ride to Wolverhampton and back yesterday and was impressed with the system, apart from the seats which felt like concrete! Tram 18 is photographed at the Bull Street terminus.
Tram 24 arrives at Birmingham Bull Street. The line is being extended from here through to New Street railway station.
Tram 24 again, this time at the other end of the line at Wolverhampton St George's.  The service is very frequent and well used, if yesterday was anything to go by, especially so, as I travelled off peak
There is some street running at either end of the line. Tram 29 leaves the Wolverhampton St. George's terminus.
About to leave Wolverhampton St. George's is Tram 26.
Tram 18 arrives at Wolverhampton, which I then rode on back to Birmingham.
Tram 28 at Birmingham Bull Street.
