Blackburn's New Bus Station

The new Bus Station in Blackburn opened a week ago, after a very long delay in its construction and change of builders. I visited for the first time last Friday. The first photo of the outside of the Bus Station reminds me of a giant glass box with an oversized lid on the top! The old Bus Station, adjoining the Railway Station, providing a good transport interchange site, has since been built on.
Inside the very minimalistic Bus Station, with the curved roof supports. It all looks bit 'cold' to me.

It is a case of very much work in progress as two sides of the Bus Station are building sites.
A general view of the bus bays.
